Benefits of The RP-T

Long-Term Residency

Ability to live and work in West Malaysia for up to 10 years.

Employer Flexibility

Flexibility to change employers without having to renew the pass.

Dependant Pass for Family

*Spouse and children under 18 years old are eligible for the RP-T dependant pass.

Social Visit Pass for Extended Family

Dependants over 18 years old, parents and parents-in-law are eligible for a renewable one-year Social Visit Pass for up to five years.

Work Rights for Spouse

*Spouse can also seek employment without the need to apply for an Employment Pass

Education Access for Children

*Spouse and children under 18 years old are also eligible to study in Malaysia. This is only applicable to children under 18 years who are pursuing their primary/secondary education in Malaysia (higher/tertiary education is not included).

*Spouse refers to a legally married spouse according to the Malaysian Government’s law.
